Heavy August Rain in So. Calif.?
-
It's raining hard here in Burbank, Ca. in Aug. I have lived here since 1951 and can not remember it ever raining here in August before and the sun is still shining too.
Lee O'Dell -
California is a bit strange!!! LOL The remnants of hurricane Issac is knocking on our door tonight - it's raining here, something that it hasn't done since June except for some scattered rain showers about 2, 3 weeks back.
I heard thunder one time in Boston - during a February snow storm. Go figure.
Hudsonly,
Alex Burr
Memphis, TN -
might be in for a "haboob" sandstorm & or monsoon rains from the way it looks out tonight; we've been having them on/off for the last 2 weeks.
-
The weather is changing I live in Ct.and believe I'm going to see palm trees here soon after last winter ..
-
Globel warming or just Mother Nature having fun.

We are on our 71st day of no rain and just because we have a local car show today a rain storm is having its way with us this morning. It is 6 AM raining cats and dogs (they dent a car). I will need to leave by 7:30--go or not to go and what car to take. So many questions....Brownie
