308 with O/D trans in 47 PU
-
A 308 twin H engine, 3sp 2 lever O/D transmission in a 47 PU. Looking for advice to connect 47 shifter to 2 lever o/d transmission. Any help will be appreciated. Also, is there any problem connecting up the clutch linkage?
Lee O'Dell -
Finding a steering column from a 2-lever car should give you all the parts you need for shift linckage. Not sure if the shaft would need to be shortened.

If you use the step down column (SIC?),you will have to modify the linkage. I had to weld in some pieces to get it to work.I used some 1/8 " rod to make a pattern.
