http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1931-Hudson-Greater-Eight-4-door-sedan-/251121344208?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item3a77ff9ed0
If I guess right, this fine auto has met its reserve and will now be sure to belong to someone new. Great car, wish that it was going to be mine........Brownie -
The price tag is now up to $18,200 for an unrestored 31. Not sure if that would be considered high but it is a great car... Eight hours to go-will it make it to $20,000??Brownie
-
IMO - Probably closer to $30K... (of course, I'll most likely be wrong ;-) ) It is an early Limo -
-
Brownie - it is a wonderful & quite rare Hudson. It has a lot of "character" with it's optional wood spoked wheels & dual sidemounts, angled windshield, door hinges unique to that model, plus so nice & original.
Sure hope it gets a good Hudson "home"! -
Nope, The $18,201.00 took it home. Not sure who got it but he was in the bidding and must of outlast the other party. Nice car, hope to see it at a meet soon...Brownie
-
If you notice, that is a Murray Bodied custom car. Apparently, the bidders have noticed.Arkie
-
Arkie - I so noted it when I posted it at the Hudson 8 website.
-
Do we have any idea who owns it? Perhaps a member of the HET?Brownie
-
That's my dream Hudson. 1929-31 8 cyl. 7 passenger dual side mounts and a trunk on the back. Someday....
-
IT WOULD NOT SURPRISE ME IF THIS CAR ENDED UP IN IND, SINCE ITS A VERY SPECIAL CAR.
-
All 31s are special or is that just my 1 eye speaking
would love to have brought that =((
Mike -
By my standards, 18 grand seems pretty reasonable. Shame it would probably cost another 4 to 5 grand to get it to NZ. Better go buy another Lotto ticket!!Dave Y
