Was the topic discussing internet security deleted? If so WHY?
-
It suddenly re appeared......LOL

If you are in a sub-forum (such as the Hudson area), you will not see the 'general announcements'. In order to see the general announcements, you must be in that area.
- Easy solution, just click the 'Discussions' button at the top of any page. You can read all posts from that area. -
SHEESH.....it's like playing Hide n Seek trying to find stuff in this new format...

I missed what happened here as I flew down to Sydney for the day. There's been a bit of an increase in web spam lately. Was that what this post was? Did it start as a very new user talked about internet security along with a link in the text?

Hi Scott
I believe the thread that is/was being referred to was yours, concerning your warning about adding personal details (such as emails to posts).
Tom apparently was in a sub-forum (Hudson) and could not see any of the management posts (yours included) that are 'stickys' at the top of the 'All Discussions' area (the main area) of the forum.
The same essentially goes for any thread in any sub-forum. You've got to be in that sub-forum to view it, unless you are in the 'All Discussions' area, where you see EVERYTHING. Honestly, that is now where I 'hang my hat' when here... Much simpler (for me) - and I read what I want to. -
@46HudsonPU Ahh, OK. Yes, I've always used the All Discussion area, for the very same reason, as it allows me to keep an eye on everything.
