Its occurring to me that perhaps Hudson convertibles might have been a better place to put my retirement money than investment real estate. . .

Mike - might be a good idea. In the '60s I bought what Jack Miller said was "the best original stepdown convertible I've ever seen", a '50 C8 with every avail. accessory (got it from the original owner who'd been given it by his dad as a h.s. graduation present), for the munificent sum of $500. To finance this "heavy purchase", unloaded a '53 Hornet conv. for $3-400, LOL.
Will try & upload photo of the '50.

    Mike - I had a 47 Commodore 8 ,48 Commodore 8 ,46 Super Six, and a 50 Pacemaker.
All Convertibles.Sadly they were all sold before 1985.I thought I got "Big " money
    than.

I have cars and property--cannot sell either one of them,... just seems no one wants to buy in this economy--or they want to pick the item up dirt cheap! Did sell my travel trailer last week so perhaps things are looking up?

I'm I wrong but this is an add from2008? Michel.
One thing is sure, lots of things went up in prices, especialy property values in Montreal. I had a 5 app building paid 125k in 1985, sold it 278K in 91. But it's worth 999K now...Bravo to those were able to keep theirs, buildings or cars...

    Roy-

You know those posts are 3 to 4-1/2 years old, don't you? I often have wondered who ended up with this car. It appeared quite nice.

Russell , I didn't realize it was an old post. It popped up at the the top of the for sale this morning and I thought it would spark some interest here.Don't know why it showed up , maybe the guy was doing a search and didn't realize it was an old ad.I didn't notice it.
    Wonder if he sold it.
    Certinly a nice car.

I took another look at the ad. It is dated 3 weeks ago. The 2008 date is when he joined the forun. The reply is recent , but also his join date makes it appear an old ad.Had me confused.
I assume it may still be available.

Roy, you're right. I was fooled too by looking the date that he joined the forum. Like you said, seems to be for sale now. Michel
