IT'S GOT A FINNED HEAD HOW MUCH IS THAT WORTH ALL BY ITSELF AND TWIN H SET UP I'M NOT SURE WHAT IT WORTH BUT THESE THINGS ARE NOT CHEEP NOW DAYS
-
No way that a used finned head (available new from Empire) and a twin H setup missing the air cleaners (also the manifold in finned version is about to be produced) is adding that kind of value to an undocumented engine rebuilt by who knows--------

I saw that and thought it was the car and the motor. I thought it a big price for the whole package. I have seen complete nice cars running and driveable go for that price. I sold a 50 Commodore 4door last year with new paint and stuff for about that figure.....Brownie

I've got a set of air cleaners for the buyer of this engine. $1750 used or $2350 re-furbished. Buyer can choose oil bath or dry element . . . no problem.

This Hudson sat in a dirt parking strip for a few years in Gardnerville, Nevada, the owner asking $4000. for the whole car. A certain person who claims to be an Hudson collector and authority had the car in California and advertised it in several sites for a lot more money. The owner in Nevada never mentioned a rebuilt engine, just that the car had belonged to his dad. So this guy in Minnesota ends up with this car and now is trying to regain some of his investment. This Hudson would take several thousand dollars to bring it into driveable condition, who knows what the transmission is like, no air cleaners, lots of wind and dust in Nevada. Finned aluminum head, big deal! Unfortunatley this guy bought the car from a good talker who knows little about Hudsons. I know who the guy is in California and would not buy from him. He claims to be a collector but really is an unlicensed dealer. Should be reported to the California DMV. The current seller is out of his mind, I do not think the whole car is worth more than what the guy wanted in Nevada. Nuff said. Arnie in Nevada
