Cinch roadster & side curtain fasteners?

Does anyone know of a source for these (cinch) fasteners. I need the male portion that goes along the back of the convertible top on my 27E BT, as the socket portion that goes into the body is still good. They are used on many late 20s open cars including Model A Fords. I have tried all the major suppliers for Ford's, Lebaron Bonney, restoration specialties & supply, local top/upholstery shops, ect. No one has them except Lebaron Bonney and they wont sell me any. I am trying to get a top on my BT for the National, but may resort to just a tonneau cover over the passenger compt.

Tom - Do you have any pictures of what they look like?

I know you just said you'd tried Restoration Specialties but I do see that they list a "cinch curtain stud" that sure sounds like what you want. It's on page 177 of the catalog: http://www.restorationspecialties.com/2011_Catalog_Web.pdf

Do you have a picture? I thought they were snaps. Push on and pull off, like the snaps on a jacket.

Yes Jon, they have them listed but are currently out of stock. Estimated time for re-supply, 2-3 months ! You would think that something that fit a Ford A would be readily available.
I'll try to get a pic of it posted, never done that on the forum. The socket part that goes in the 7/16 holes in the body are readily available.

Is this it, Tom? It's from LeBaron Bonney (oops, sorry!).

However, I saw the following at Bratton's Model A parts company. Looks awful similar. You buy them in sets, look like different lengths:

Jon, The ones I need are like a grommet that goes into the top material. The ones shown here are the opposite as they go into the body. Mine has the female side going into the body.
I will check them out anyway.

I looked at their listings, the body socket is pictured above the pic that you posted. I can get as many of the body sockets as I need, just not the part that goes into the top material.

Is this what you need? near the bottom of the page. I never find what I'm looking for but if its something that a Model A part would work, I check them out. They have a nice showroom/museum of original parts and accessories plus a restoration shop if you are ever passing through the youngstown area.

The part I need is A-37105, listed down a bit from the body sockets. As you will see they are temporarily discontinued at this time. The A-37101 are the body sockets that fit into the car body and seem to be readily available

Found this - Can't tell if it is actually the part you are looking for - you'd probably need to give them a call -
