'53 Hudson "prototype" PU for sale

Yup, me too. Same person/dealership has had this particular vehicle for sale for quite some time. Looks like the price hasn't changed either.

IMO, it is a conversion - not a 'prototype'. Fairly well done, I like the tailgate. Could do without the rear bumper - or maybe something that looks a bit more like the front bumper. The chrome looks dingy, maybe it's just the photo. Don't see any photos of the engine (?).

It looks good. I like the way the tail gate is painted. Gives me an idea what to do on my 47 PU. The rear bumper looks like the one my Dad had on his 46 PU. I would take it for my PU.

That's damn cool. I just need that and a Stepdown stationwagon...

Is it just me, or does it not look like a '53? The hood looks like a '53 but the grille looks like a '52 Pacemaker (small parking lights).

I tend to agree with you, Rick, looks like a conglomeration from many cars - Pacemaker grille, Hornet door emblems, how many other mismatches can you spot?
