'53 Hudson "prototype" PU for sale

Yup, me too. Same person/dealership has had this particular vehicle for sale for quite some time. Looks like the price hasn't changed either.
IMO, it is a conversion - not a 'prototype'. Fairly well done, I like the tailgate. Could do without the rear bumper - or maybe something that looks a bit more like the front bumper. The chrome looks dingy, maybe it's just the photo. Don't see any photos of the engine (?). -
That's damn cool. I just need that and a Stepdown stationwagon...Six in a row makes it GO!

Is it just me, or does it not look like a '53? The hood looks like a '53 but the grille looks like a '52 Pacemaker (small parking lights).
I tend to agree with you, Rick, looks like a conglomeration from many cars - Pacemaker grille, Hornet door emblems, how many other mismatches can you spot?Chris Reinman
