There is one in a restoration shop in Salt Lake City that is in the process of a full restoration. It is going to be nice when it rolls out later this year.

Yeah, Brownie - and there's a 52 Hornet Cv over in Texas that's just about done, It's going to be one beautiful restoration. This one was pretty much done "at home" by someone who would NOT say, "Ok, that's good enough". The fellow put several years into a convertible that was just a shell to start with. I can't wait to see it in Gettysburg - I just hope he makes it.

I have to ask what is your point?
The buyer paid more than anyone else was willing to spend - it was an auction after all. So are we to criticize the dealer for taking an entrepreneurial risk with the purchase and re-listsing, or are we to praise capitalism in America for affording him the opportunity to attempt a profit with the possibility he will not?
Is it that this raise in price puts the car further out of reach for many? If so the other side of that coin is that higher market values make the saving and restoration of more old Hudsons a financially viable proposition.

I for one will celebrate the greatest economic system yet devised and be glad a free market still has free reign.

Stillout there, what is your point? I just made a factual statement about the car offered. Your fighting a war when there is none to fight. (maybe in your mind?)
