Improvements are showing up. I noticed the last post on a discussion is showing up almost first. The topic shows up first then it quickly goes directly to the last post. Perhaps it will go directly to the last post eventually. It is great not scrolling thru all the discussions before getting to the last post. Thanks Scott for working to make this format more user friendly.

You're welcome Lee. And we're not finished yet! I'm waiting for the devs to let me start testing an improved sign-in procedure, and we've decided on a new search feature - the current forum search, in a word, is awful.

The go straight to last post in a discussion feature was turned off when we made the forum switch. It was screwing up other things. We're looking at doing a little work on the coding and switching it back on.

I should add, our developers have sorted out the simpler/better login procedure, I've tested it, it works, and it's good. I've asked them to delay putting it live until early next week. Just in case something goes wrong, I want the developers at hand.

Regarding last post showing up first - it did for a few days when I logged in, but lately it hasn't gone to the last post!!! =)) No problem - just do it manually.

One thing I haven't figured out - if I do a post, can't seem to return to "Discussions-Hudson" page. Clicking on "Discussions" takes me back to the Discussions page and I have to re-log in to return to the Hudson section. Otherwise, if I don't post than using the back button at top left will do it.

@hudsontech See the word Hudson next to the time stamp when in homepage view, or to the right of the discussion title when in a discussion thread? Click that, and you'll see nothing but Hudson discussions. Same goes for any of the major topic areas. Click them, and you filter for those discussions only.

Or, even easier, go to the navigation menu on the far right-hand side of the page. Again, click any of the main topics, and you will see nothing but the discussions on the topic clicked.

I've just woken up to see that it is live - looks to be working well. Have yourselves a good Memorial Day - we had our similar day recently, on April 25, called Anzac Day.
