Good Hudson/Stude Day
-
Had lunch with one of the Stude chapters today, but the highlight was a trip up toYpsilanti,Mi to Miller Motors. Had been a couple of years since I'd been there, and was a bit saddened to see Jack's health declining. Jack has forgotten more about Hudsons than most of could ever know or learn. He alwasy remembers your name and asked about both of my kids, and if I stil had the 50 Commodore 8,amazing. He's still taking in Hudson repair work as he had a 52 Hollywood Hornet in doing some minor repairs. I don't know who's doing his work now. I was there til long after Stude bunch left. Can't get enough of his place, so much to see.
Thanks for letting me share,
Kim -
Among the great high-lites of my trip to the National in Pontiac in 2009 was a stop at the Hostetler Museum and, especially, a stop at Jack's establishment. Big Thanks to Russell Chilton for putting up with me - without Russell offering to provide transport I might not have made the trip.

Yep, that's a very cool place to go, so sorry to hear about Jack.
Thanks Alex, I enjoyed it as well!
