1940 Convertible on CL in NC - 25K

Looks like it's located somewhere in Hickory, SC - most likely, someone on the forum is very familiar with this car?
A few minor points -
I don't see any running boards - It appears that they were optional on the convertible, however if running boards were not installed, "bright moldings were fitted to the body sill panels and front fenders, while pads were put on the rear fenders for protection from flying stones." (per Butler book, pg 246).
Air cleaner does not appear to be stock either - something easily corrected.

Belongs to Brad Blaisdel. He's had this for sale for some time now. Market is pretty tight. I know this car to some degree.
