1955 Hudson Hornet

Me and my son are restoring a 1955 Hudson Hornet. It is a six volt system. The battery was not installed. I know that my 1939 Ford is a six volt POSITIVE ground system. Is the Husdon posItive ground also? The motor is the V8.
