1927 Essex Boat Tail
-
Recently I was approached by a gentleman that said he had a 27 Essex Boat tail speedster body and fenders. No frame or engine.. I am inclined to wonder.. What would it cost to find and restore a 27 Essex Chassis to mount this body on? I realize that it would be a money pit... but how much?

You might want to take a look at it first. These things tended to rust out behind the wood framed areas. The factory didn't paint the metal until after the wood was installed.
Maybe see about kicking this thread over to the "Hudson" area too?
