Hudson related books
-
I went to get a haircut today but they took the day off. So I drove down to our local auto book store (AUTOBOOK-AEROBOOKS) 2900 W. Magnolia in Burbank to see what they had to offer. Some time ago I asked if they were going to get any Hudson books. They had had a 6 - 7 year dry spell without Hudson books. At the time their response was not hopeful. A few months ago they had Total Domination, (a great book). Today they have 5 different Hudson books. I guess it paid off to ask. I jotted down the titles to check which ones I was missing from my collection. Looks like two more books will be added from this list.
Total Domination
Hudson History
Hudson 1946-1957
Hudson Automobiles The Cars that Hudson Built
Roy D. Chapman The Man Behind the Hudson Motor Car Company
I hope anyone living in this area will visit this store. Maybe they will add additional Hudson books if there is enough interst to buy. I understand they have online sales also. They have two books I did not see listed in the HET club store.
Can't hurt to ask your local book stores, to at least order up Total Domination to spread interest in our Hudsons. Maybe they will also increase their Hudson book inventory.
Just a thought

It pays to keep your eyes open. Last copy I've seen of the Don Butler book was in a bookshop in Zurich, Switzerland!

Park - I have been watching ebay for copies of the Don Butler book. Picked up one last fall for $ 40.00 with free shipping. I was really surprised, as they usually as for opening bid of somewhere around $65.00 on up. There is a couple on ebay right now for in the neighborhood of $125.00
