jets owner?
-
I just bought a 54 jet from Jim Guinn, the guy that hauls cars. On the title, an Ohio, It has two names, First name Is Bill Harris, then he sold it to Jason Adkins, then he sold it to Jim. I looked in the club roster(2008-2010) their not in there. Just wondering if any one knows one or both of them. the vin is 3299044
thank you for any help you can give me. I will post pictures later as I restore it.

Hi Gene
I did not see a listing in the Rosters back to 1987 nor the 1983 Roster. They may be relatives of some of the Adkins or Harris' in the Rosters.

I know the car, I almost bought it off of the Jason guy, he had it in a barn with a few other cars in Ohio, near Bryan. I sold him some crosley parts, and he later bought a couple of crosley's, but I think he has sold them since. The car was a little to rough for me, besides i already had 3 Jets. I remeber that I could have bought it fo 500.00, this wsa 3 or 4 years ago.

Jerry Bean, in Ohio, keeps the Jet registry for the Club. You might contact him to see if your car has ever been placed on the registry by any of its past owners. HEThudsonjetman@hotmail.com, delete the HET before sending.
(And while you're at it, you might re-register the car on the registry in your name. It's helpful, and if more people did this, we'd have a much better documentation of what Hudsons are out there.) -
Don't forget the "Jet Set" group. They sometimes post here.Dave Y

Jon - I have his vin number, and in checking my records, this Jet has never been registered in the past. I would also like to know if the car is a two door or four door for my records
