Nice car!! Is that a '52 or '53? I'm envious, as I've grown real fond of the HLWYD's.
-
Very nice! I'll say it again, love the colors.Six in a row makes it GO!
-
Looks great. Love the color combination and the lines of the Hollywood.
-
It's a 52. I have had a bunch of distractions this year, so I have not done much lately. My wife wants me to hustle it up before our new baby arrives (actual baby....not another Hudson
) -
Well, that's an exceptionally fine looking Hudson. What's the story? Rebuilding the engine? Re-wiring? Is the paint new? Congrats on the new addition!!
-
You too? Congrats! The third little Greaser'll be here this June. When's your due?Six in a row makes it GO!

I was a little leery of rewiring my 54 and kept putting it off, my YnZ harness sat in the box for years. I finally got to that point in the rebuild that I had to get it done. I pulled the new harness out of the box studied it carefully then jumped in with both feet. It took about a week to get it all done, and it turned out great. One thing you can do to test your new wiring is to use a 6 volt lantern battery before you hook up a car battery. The 6 volt lantern battery won't do any damage to the wiring in you happen to have a short or made a wrong connection.
Great color combination!

Russell, Full Restoration. It was painted last summer and I have been moving slow ever since. Most of the interior is in place, but I need to finish wiring. I picked it up right before the Detroit National Meet. It was completely apart, so there has been some guesswork to get it back together, as this is my first Hollywood. There was no wiring when i got it, so I am using one of my original 51's as an example to figure out where the wires go.
Erik, The baby girl is due in April. Hopefully she and her older brother can help keep the Hudson tradition going. -
Beautiful car! I look forward to seeing the progress.
