Spare keys for 1928 Essex
-
I received an email for a fellow in Kentucky who was looking for the following for a friend of his that has a 1928 Essex:
"Ted has a question about his 1928 Essex. He has 1 key to start it and 1 for the transmission (I am assuming to lock it when parked) and was wondering how to get extra keys made for it."
Anybody got an answer for this question?? I'll pass it back to Donald.

I would think any decent size hardware or a locksmith could fix him up just fine.

Thanks Gene - that was sort of my way of thinking, but I thought I'd toss it out and see what others might have to say.

On an allied topic. I'm having a problem in finding a key blank for cutting for an Electrolock for a 28 Essex. Anyone know who made the original key blank or a modern equivalent. My normally reliable locksmith is struggling here!!Dave Y
