Oil pump alignment tool for sale
-
Here it is by popular demand (ha ha) a revised version of the stepdown 6 cyl alignment tool to set the oil pump gear in sync with the distributor. This is a reproduction tool in aluminum. Cost is $30 plus $11 for shipping. I made some changes from the original KM tool I borrowed. With the original you are trying to align the tool offset tab with the oil pump gear both inside the body of the block - blind essentially. This tool is longer so you can see and move the alignment pieces out in the open. Also I have no decorative knurling and less different diameters on the tool - all unnecessary. If you have questions email me at: HETgtkristi@copper.net (delete the HET)

P.S. your personal check is fine. Thank you for your interest. -
I may never need one of these again, but just to have had it in the past would have saved me a lot of trouble. I'll be sending you a check for one. Thanks for reproducing this nearly impossible to find tool! Dan
