1933 E-T parts wanted and questions
-
In beginning my restoration of the '33 Terraplane, LWB 2 door coach, 6 cylinder model KU I have a few parts I can see I need right off the bat. I will add to this list as I go. Thanks for any help!
Right outside door handle, the longer style for the 8 cylinder/long wheel base cars, measures 5.5" (versus 5")
Crank Hole Cover
Hood center hinge Hold Down that screws onto the top of the grille shell
Correct air cleaner, or at least a picture of, as well as the Horn that mounts on the cylinder head
Both rear Fenders, I believe these only fit the sedans,in decent shape. I know, that's asking alot!
Metal spare cover for rear mounted spare
WIndshield frame in nice condition

That's a sharp '54, but I like the '33 better. Sorry, can't help you with parts for the Essex, though.

Nice 33. How are you on hub caps. I have been looking for the caps that only have the word Essex across the center black diamond. I would expect that you would need the ones that have Terraplane 6 or 8 on them. I located a few of these if you need sources or names drop me a note: browniepetersen@readytek.netBrownie

here are 2 picturex of my ET8 air filter & horn when I got the car, the water jacket has been replaced by a regular unit NOS supplied by Cargray last summer.
Ugly red paint has been removed and turned back to original colors according to information provided by HET friends.
If needed, I can take closer pictures of that air filter but do not know if it's similar to ET6 engines.

The air cleaners are different 6 to 8. My uncle has a 33T6 aircleaner he was getting ready to sell. I will let him know that someone on here is looking for one as I know they are hard to find. Mark
