thank you all. i pulled to trigger on hudzilla's offer so i am good. thanks for all the help. i am getting close to driving the hornet again with the 308! last weekend i got the engine in and everything hooked up. now that that is done and the entire frontend rebuild it's starting to look like a real car. still have a few loose ends to tie up but soon, very soon.

i have had it together for a while, don't know how it will run yet. i have been going thru the frontend- kingpins, bearings, shocks, all that stuff lately. i decided to run new brake lines because the last ones i did didn't look neat enough. it was pretty nice to get the engine and driveline in. got the front brakes adjusted according to major brake adjustment in manual and i an happy with that. if it runs decent i may tear into the electrical next. i am tossing the idea of buying a whole harness after reading the thread on it a ways back.

    FYI
I bet it will run fine. If you dont replace the original wiring right away at least install an inexpensive Shut off at the negative Battery terminal because of the old wiring frays over time.
