replacement carb
-
Is there a carb that has the same 4 bolt flange as a carter wgd on a 53 262 ?
-
Earlier Carter WDO will fit, likely too lean though. I think Rochester 2G carbs have the 'small' 4 bolt pattern of the 2 bbl Carters. There's adapters out there too, to put just about any carb on any intake, try http://www.vintagespeed.com/ for starters. I had a 4bbl Rochester 4GC on my 2 bbl 308 for awhile.Six in a row makes it GO!

i had a newer carb off a dodge product of some sort that fit mine. but the good advice given to me was to use the size designed for it. there are several in the het club that rebuild them if you aren't into rebuilding it yourself.
