Hydramatic Tranny and starter available

I converted my '51 Hornet from a Hydramatic to 3-speed manual OD. This was the result of the Hydra locking up as I was going around a corner. It is locked in gear, will certainly need to be opened up, inspected, and most likely parts replaced. The torque converter is in good condition.

Likewise, I had to remove the associated starter (for an automatic) in favor of using a manual transmission style starter. That was a shame, as the starter is in beautiful shape, and always performed flawlessly.

I bought my car already converted to 12V. I don't know if the removed starter had been converted to 12V or is still 6V, but it always worked great.

Make a reasonable offer for either component or both, I'd like to see these go to a good home (I am located in Austin, TX)

If you're interested in either, please do NOT send a PM through the forum. It is much less cumbersome to just email me direct: phil at auldridge.org
