1930 super six timing chain....
-
I was wondering if anyone can tell me when the timing chain is supposed to be replaced? I have 56,000 miles on mine. I was also wanting to know if you have to replace the gears too? are they available and anyone know where to get and how much.....thanks John

You might want to post this in the Hudson Forum at http://classiccar.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=showcat&catid=13&Itemid=129 .

if the '30 E has the same arrangement as the '29 Hudson you can adjust the timing chain tension with a special wrench that came with the car but I don't know about the E as never had one.
If you have one, check your owners manual.
