Hello All,
I am a new member here and new owner of a 1966 Mercury Comet. I bought it not because I have always wanted one but because I saw it on a lot and just loved the look of it. -
Hey! I'm a new member too. I actually bought a 1970 Maverick for the same reason! I wouldn't call myself a Ford fan but 2/3 of my vehicles are Fords. Go figure!

Congratulation on your new car. It look good. I once had a 1965 Mercury Caliente my Dad won in a Gabriel Shock Absorber contest. For selling the most shocks in one month he got a mew car. He won three Caliente's in months. I bought one of them just before my Army discharge in 1966. Great car.
Have a good day and enjoy cruising.
