What car? 1940s film with tons of classic cars
-
Can someone please tell me what black car is shown at 1:00 in the video below?
-
The first two cars are a 46 or 47 Packard Taxi and a 41 Lincoln, the second two are a 46 Buick on the left and a 47 or 8 Merc on the right.
-
Really like the vid. Especially the 2;27 car next to the curb. Nice .
-
I like the BUS at 3:46

Me too!
Looks like a Flxible. If Ken U comes by he should be able to tell.
Kevin C. -
agree it's probably a '41 Lincoln but think it might be a Zephyr model rather than the "big" Lincoln??????????
-
Bob, This is a Flxible at 3:46. The other bus is either a Brill or a Twin Coach at 3:32
-
The 41 Lincoln has to be a Zephyr, no big lincolns, model K, after 40

I wonder if this was sequence was filmed by a movie studio for one of its "process" shots (where you see two people sitting in the back or front seat of a cutaway car with a rear-projected movie visible through the front and side windows, giving the illusion that they're driving down the street).
-
Thanks for all the replies guys! certainly helped me alot.
And yes, this was a background sequence shot by a movie production company.

Anyone else notice the roadster at 3:18? Looks like somebody's "hot rod" to me. Sweet car!
-
It might be the '41 Lincoln, but not sure.
