where to get replacement interiors/carpets
-
I'm still rounding up funds & ideas for my 1949 step-down build,i DO NOT have buckets of ca$h to play with,so where do i start to look for interior kits/headliner/carpet,I'm tore between stock & putting salvage yard parts in it..I'm really leaning toward 1/2 stock & 1/2 50's style..mine still has all the stock stuff but after sitting for 52yrs it's roached!
if you go toward the end of the album you can see what i have to work with..:woohoo:

Walt here. Go to www.kanter.com and check out the list of parts they have for Hudson's. You will get all you need and then more. Phone 800-526-1096 They are in N J.

In restoring my 54 Special I used Kanter headliner, carpet and seat cover kits. They all worked out fine. You will have to buy extra fabric for the door panels however. Kanter can sell you the fabric to match the seat covers. I had them professionally installed. Good luck.
