Stepdown Roof mount antenna removal?
-
I'd like to remove the antenna from my car for painting, but I can't seem to get the plastic bezel that's under the knob off. I don't want to pry on it much because the old plastic is so brittle. I there a trick to getting it off?

Mark, You need a deep well THIN Wall 11/16ths socket. there is a nut inside the plastic housing that must be removed before the bezel can be removed. It MUST be a thin walled socket or it will not fit without breaking the bezel.
