End of year/ interior
-
Just filled the gas tank and put My Pacemaker up for the winter. Had a good year, put about 1800 miles on the car -- no problems. It really has been a pretty reliable car in the 23 years I have owned it.
I had a man over today to look at the interior and give me an estimate on re-uphostering the seats and door panels. He has over 40 years experience. Learned from his father and grandfather, starting at a very young age. He has worked for various shops around town and is now doing it on his own. Gave me a very good price, less than half of what it woud cost in a regular shop.
Now I have to take the seats and door panels out for him to get started. When finished I will post before and after photos.
Long over due for this. I have been driving it for many moons with a blanket over the seat.
