Heater flow direction
-
Which way dies the coolant flow through the stepdown heater system? Out of the water pump port into the heater core? Or out of the head through the heater core into the pump?
Thanks.Six in a row makes it GO! -
Out of the head through the heater core, return to the pump

Thanks, just needed to confirm my thinking.Six in a row makes it GO!

Do you have the Ranco valve in the firewall? If yes, then the outlet on the right side of the head goes to the right side of the Ranco valve, the left side goes to tht top of the heater core, the bottom goes to the water pump as that is what pulls the water through the heater. Walt.
