Water pump sources
-
Hello All,
Does anyone have any sources for a good reman 308 water pump? I bought a reman off E-bay and it lasted 5K miles.
Thanks,Dave W.

Dale Cooper has water pumps, engine gaskets, seals and engine rebuild parts for a lot of engines 1914 to 1957. All gaskets are either new or N.O.S., all cork and paper gaskets are new manufacture. He has bearings, valves guides and springs, timing components, pistons and rings (some original pinned piston rings) , lifters, oil pumps & kits, thrust washers and crank spacers for vibration damper 1931-56 6 and 1934-52 8. Catalog is viewable online at http://www.hudsonmotorcarco.com
For snail mailed copy of catalog or order Dale Cooper, 7444 Vine and Paddock, Cincinnati, OH 45216-1712 or call (513) 821-6200 . -

Just talked to this owner on the phone. Uses modern bearings and seals, not Chinese made, around 100.00 for a water pump. Been in business for 30 years. I think I will give him a shot on the next one I have done.

Got mine from Dave Kostanzek (check WTN) but he is finishing up his stock and then is done with them. Dale Cooper is a super fair guy; I'd give him a call.
