Canvas Splash Guards
-
Is there supposed to be a metal strip run through the pocket of either top or bottom of the canvas splashguard? When I took my car apart there was rements of canvas and a thin piece of metal through what was left of the fabric. I'm asking cause I only have on piece and would like to have another for the other side. I'm thikin what I have is driver's side as passenger has most corrosion.Strip is about 3/4" wide and is configured to the contour of the bottom of the inner fender panel.

Yup... there should be a metal strip in there for weight to keep it from sailing. It should be the same size on either side.Workin Stiff
