51 Hudson on My Ride Rules
-
Anyone watch My Ride Rules last night. Had a really nice 51 Hudson Super Six competing against a bunch of X-brand stuff.
I thought the Hudson was the best ride. The truck was ridiculous and the 71 Mustang winning over the Hudson was a crock. But hey I am biased. I do enjoy this show but the classics do not do so well as everyone wants them to scream with some kind of big block under the hood.
Need a My Ride Rules classic edition which would be better.www.hudsonmotorcar.org -
I saw it too, but not completely. I am,to, biased, and prefered the Hudson but, the fact that this Hudson was not flawless like the others, and I think he had some mechanic problems, didn't help. Wish it had been a 7X with a Twin-H candidate...Would have been different... Michel.

I thought only problem was that idiot with the Mustang driving it. He stalled it on hill as he does not know how to drive a standard. Plus he pulls a U-E in traffic what kind of idiot does that.www.hudsonmotorcar.org

Yeah! And I recall he almost hit the car coming on the other side. You're right! Michel51hornetA wrote:I thought only problem was that idiot with the Mustang driving it. He stalled it on hill as he does not know how to drive a standard. Plus he pulls a U-E in traffic what kind of idiot does that. -
He also Stalled another Car! Being Biased as I am, I think the Hudson got hosed. Mustangs are dime a dozen Kit Cars with the engineering already done for the owner to just bolt on, go fast parts.
The Mustang was nice but still it was one of how many millions?
Bob Hickson.
