Twin H install
-
I'm just about ready to install my Twin H setup and have a quick question... The head bolts I have to remove for the linkage, do any hit the water jacket? Will I need to drain the coolant?
~EDIT~
Well, read the manual... it says to drain the coolant... That answers that. Any tips not in the manual then?Six in a row makes it GO! -
Someone else can chime in here but as I remember, don't crank down the exhaust manifold too tight. I am not sure of the torque but it should be in the manual. I cracked one once...

My recent experience with mounting the head was educational. All the head bolts penetrate the water jacket as far as I can tell. If you do not coat them well with something like permatex 2, you will get water through the bolts when the engine is hot.
