Hi everyone been busy with the 1930 essex again....can anyone tell me where i can buy oil pan gaskets or material long and wide enough to make my own? mine are torn and it leaks like a oil fountain.....thanks John

right, you'll have to make them.
buy sheets of cork, try to get it of best approximate thickness.
put the cork on workbench, floor, or whatever is flat then invert pan onto cork; use either a ball point pen or a thinline marker to outline your screw holes & outer perimeter of the pan. Then use a punch, if haven't got one the correct diameter, get one, and lay cork sheet onto a piece of wood, like plywood, and using the punch make the holes then, using a good sharp pr. of scissors, cut out the gasket. Trickiest & most time consuming is then cutting out the inside cork.
Fun & games in the world of Hudson restoration but when done, you know YOU did it, not some subsidiary of Auto Zone or whoever.
