I was going through spare parts my father had acquired through the years and ran across spark plug wires with the vintage cloth covering. They are still in the clear package with a price, and I know these were purchased at one of the Hudson swap meets we had attended. I would like to use these for the next tune up on my '35, but had a question. The ends that connect to the distributor have boots on the connections, but the ends that connect to the spark plugs are bare metal with no boots. Was this typical of wires from the day, or do I simply need to get the rubber boots for these separately? It would seem to me the wires should have a boot for protection, but just thought I would ask and find out. Thank you.
