35 Silver Streak
-
I just bought a 35 Silver Streak six four door. The car is in great shape except for the hole in the dash where the radio head should be. Previous owner says he never had a radio or delete plate, he just lived with the hole. Someone somewhere has got to have a suitable radio head or delete plate - or a suggestion how I can cover up the @#$% hole!
Any help is appreciated, and duct tape is not acceptable.
Thanks

Hi Joe, I have a restored radio for your car. I can supply it with the open car speaker, which mounts on the firewall, or the closed car speaker, which mounts above the center of the windshield. Email me at; stevee045@gmail.com

Check to see if there is a center speaker, if there isn't one then some has lost the cover plate. I would find a local tech school and give them a pattern so the machine shop can make up a nice plate and mount a radio elsewhere. If you do have a speaker one can find either a remaned stock looking radio or there is a few companys out there that sell a stock looking radio with all new goodies like am/fm mp 3 hook ups and the like
