Essex carb from 'that auction site' WOW!
-
Just WOW...
ESSEX CARB LINK -
Sold one already - like to know what he got for that one. This fellow is totally out of touch with reality, IMHO!!! Hmmmm - Bedford, NH - brain must have froze last winter.
Even today you can buy a parts car for $2k. Crazy.
12 bids shown - have to wonder how many are a buddy or two of his bidding up the price trying to sucker somebody into buying it.

HOLY BAT GUANO!

I think he got around $1025.00 for the first one. Insane prices but I guess if you need it bad enough....Steve

1930 Essex Super Six -
Somebody needed a carburetor badly. From the bidding history I'd say this came down to a cat fight between two bidders - meaning other people with parts will take this as a bellweather and prices on all parts will most likely go up accordingly.
At least until reason and sanity takes over and that 1934 Hudson Carb doesn't sell for $1500 or more.
