1915 Jackson & 1940 Plymouth Coupe?
-
I have two cars that I want to restore: a 1915 Jackson & a 1940 Plymouth Coupe.
Has anyone heard of a Jackson? The internet tells me there were only 150 made. This one is in excellent, original condition except the engine bearing is blown. Does anyone have any idea of value and of someone who would know how to fix the engine? New York area is preferable.
The 1940 Plymouth Coupe needs some body work but the engine and tranny appear to be fine. Again, anyone know of someone who can get this fixed in the New York area?
Thanks for any info.

You might also try the AACA's forums at http://forums.aaca.org/ . They have forums for Plymouths, and the 'General' forum might be the best place to ask about the Jackson.

4 and 6 cylinder models were available for that year. The company was in Jackson Michigan. Value maybe 20K
The 40 Plymouth should be no problem for service from anyone that works on older cars. If you are looking for top notch work you could try White Post Restorations but they are near D.C.
