Looks good. Hard to tell with the small photo, but is that supposed to be a landau bar on the back?
Personally, I think you should put the "Triple S Boys" logo on the side and use it as a shop truck and promotional piece. Just a thought. -
Nothing definite on final logo. I am more concerned with getting it finished and drivable first.

It is such a great Hudson, most of the final details are not all that important. It is going to look great when it is done. As far as color goes, I am a "Resale Red" or "Keeper Green" guy. Funny thing, I have two green cars right now and one blue... I guess I know what is for sale next?

I had "plans" involving this one too but owner prefers to let it "mold" into the ground. What a shame - it's a '38 with Elec. Hand.

That 38 is still in a lot better starting condition than Eldon's or ours. Shame to see it not restored. Now, I know of one (Whited's) 1935, two 1936 (Eldon's & Ours) , one 1937(Hemmings), that 1938 and Forkner's 1939 panel deliveries. Does anyone know of any others?

There is a '40 in Texas. It changed hands and I have lost track of it temporarily. I think it's in about the same condition as the one shown here, but partially dissassembled.

Ken Cates just sent me this picture os 1939 panel delivery funeral car he took at 1976 Big Country Meet. Does anyone know what happened to it?

Dave,
Although some funeral homes used used sedan or panel deliveries for flowers, most flower cars were actually open back like hearse with out top.
As back in 30\'s 40\'s and 50\'s most viewing was not in funeral home, but in residence or public hall. Most funeral homes had a \"service car\" that was used for taking flower stands, chairs, lights and other equipment to residence or place of visitation. This is what I am concidering doing.

We took panel outside yesterday for first time after we installed grill shell.

There is a '39 Country Club 8 sedan (it looks like a LWB) in Hanover, PA. It would make a good flower car with just a little cutting and welding.:lol:
