'36 Nash 400 Parts Used on Lafayettes
-
I'm starting on restoration of a '36 Nash 400 sedan, and would like to determine which engine components were used on '37 models (or later) of Lafayette. The 'monitor clad' engines appear very similar between 36 & 37, and some parts are obviously the same, but other are not as obvious (like the generator - regulator location appears to be different).
I guess the real question would be if anyone knows how long that 400 engine continued to be used in Lafayettes.
I've been looking for a good Nash parts directory for '35 on. I'm sure that would help tremendously.
Thanks in advance.

The Lafayette engine, 6cyl L head with 7 mains , was used thru the 40 model year.
