Remove door lock to open the door, Commodore '49

hello boy's!
I have a big question ...
I want to open the backseat door of my Commodore ... but not how it works.
I saw that the door lock is down ... and the handle does not work. would have any advice for me??
The door can be opened from the inside with the safety on?? as I can do??

I think id spray some wd40 down the hole for the lock knob. That is directly over the latch . I ser you have the panel loose and could spray some in trompo there too. Then let it soak for a few daysRetired Tech.

Even tho I have a little more upholstery in mine, whenever the inside handle isn't pushed all the way to its "relaxed" position (where its supposed to be when you start to pull it), the outside handle doesn't work and the lock knob doesn't want to function properly. So check the inner handle position; it seems like these lock & latch mechanisms need WD-40 on a monthly basis.

hello guys!
I went to the store today and I put a product like WD40 .... is a spray that acts to - 40º degrees and check the weld breaks the rust ...
I will look up as pictures and I'll open a thread to listen to their advice.
