1955 Ford Pickup
-
I just bought a 1955 Ford Pickup for a retirement project. It has a six cylinder with 4 speed transmission. I'd like to keep the engine and transmission but be able to cruise at highway speeds, 55 to 65. What rear end ratio would be suitable? Also, I'd like to change to 12 volt. Is there a fairly easy swap to a one wire alternator? Thanks.
