1966 Pontiac Lemans retoration
-
Doing a little research and wanted to know a few things. Any help would be great.
I have a '66 LeMans and wanted to convert it to power steering, power brakes, and fuel injection. Fuel injection is probably a must to pass emissions here in NY. Was wondering if anyone could give a ball park figure of what this project may cost. The body is in great shape was restored about ten years ago. I wanted to have these three things done before the interior. Thanks for taking the time. -
Anybody? Could really use the help.

Pretty general question. It will depend on whether or not you are doing the work or hiring it out, have you priced parts?

Since you're not getting much response, try the H.A.M.B. site. Its a traditional hot rod/custom forum and they have experts on just about everything to do with cars. Someone there has done what you want to do and will be happy to talk to you about it. Just read the rules before you post, and follow them. They restrict posts to 64 and earlier, but a generic request for info on 326's shouldn't bother anyone. All you can do is ask, if you get a reply start an e=mail discussion and avoid problems.

I have a lemans catalog from a place called Ames Performance Engineering, it was free from them. In catalog they have conversion kit for disc brakes and power steering components I quickly priced those items to $1600.00 in parts ,no labor. I did not see fuel injection but they do carry a ram air assembly. I have 66 also. Body, motor, interior work done, needs chassis rubber bad, still original
