valve spring
-
I have a 308 motor that the stock lifters were replace with Chrysler solid lifters. The valves had to be cut down and different valve springs were used. I need to replace a valve spring. I wonder if anyone had any knowledge on what valve spring would be compatible for this application?

If It were me doing this, I would take a good spring to a good automotive machine shop. They can check it's dimensions, and it's tension on a valve spring checker. They should be able to find a match in a manufacture's catalog..... OR,,,, If there is any doubt about the integrety of the other valves, I would contact Dale Copoper and replace the parts with the propper ones.:cheer:msaffr wrote:I have a 308 motor that the stock lifters were replace with Chrysler solid lifters.
