front windshieldand rear window install
-
I am taking out windshield and rear window on our 54 hornet hollywood and want to know the following questions. I bought the seals from Kgap. I will be cutting the seal on the inside . to replace front glass do I need to put in the ss strips that go around the windshield BEFORE oe AFTER I install the windshield . Do I cut the seal
to just fit or leave it a little longer. Do I Glue the seals together or not glue them. What kind of glue do I need to use for this and glueing the weather seals.

Ray, my unsolicited advice to you is have it done professionaly.
It appears that you have not done this before and you run a high probability of cracking the glass. Even the pros will not take any responsibility for cracking when reinstalling used glass. It is a tricky proposition
For what it's worth.
