preserve 1-owner car status

You are the second owner, period. You are being dishonest if you are selling this as a "one-owner" truck, when it is clearly evident that you are the SECOND owner, even if you do not put the truck in your name.
You CAN say "one owner before me", or "I bought this from the original owner", but you can not, with honesty and in good conscience, call it a "one-owner"...even if you own it for just a day!
Your question is pretty disingenuous. It is a TWO-owner truck. You are a flipper and are in the ownership chain."The time has come", the Walrus said, "to speak of many things. Of shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot,
And whether pigs have wings..." -

Thats the key words there, honesty and good conscience.
Not only that but to be a one owner of a 70 vehicle you would have to be around 57 years old. I really can't imagine a 57 year old asking that kind of question. Thats more like what I would expect from a 20 something year old.
