49 super six interior?
-
Concerning the inside of the door, inside the recessed area, does the stainless strip that goes on the "arm rest" area correct for a Super Six, or were those used on Commodores only?
-
Russell, it was standard on the Commodore, but from what I gather, Commodore trim or parts of it, were sometimes added at customer request. It was not standard on the Supers. I gather you are looking at the '49 Super Six on Ebay?. Steve T brought that Commodore trim for that car before he sold it to Larry Kennedy. Larry K finished up the interior. Kenneth

No, just researching for a friend with a S6. So what was there, just matching material?
-
The bottom of the "cove" area is covered in gray leather or "leather-like" material, Russell. So is the top and bottom 1/4 of the door panels. Front door panels looked the same.

Ignore the non-original carpet and seat covers.
