This seems like a nice car. Offered for way less than a '51 Hornet in this condition.

My father bought new 50 and 51 Statesman 2drs. They were his favorite cars, and he bought them while his father in law was a Hudson Salesman. go figure, The Nash was really good on MPG
and never had windows fog up, and it rode nice.

I had a 1949 Nash for a while when I was in high school - long story short my dad made me buy the car (actually he found it and THEN made me buy it) because he felt I was irrisponsable with my '39 Dodge coupe with the 1953 Dodge 241 small block hemi.

Never could figure out why other dads were adamant their daughters would not go out with me in that car!!!! :woohoo:

Anyway it was nice transportation, ran well and never gave any trouble - except one day the battery, which was under the drivers side seat, fell out in the middle of the street!!!! :woohoo: Battery tray rusted out.

Very good car, but not fast enough to run "shine"!
