Art Deco antenna ID?

    The only examples I've found of this antenna are on 1939 Mercurys and Lincolns, so perhaps it's a Ford Motor Company product? The Mercury can be seen at Shorpy (detail below) and this Lincoln. Any ideas?

    I believe this was either a Motorola or a Philco antenna, so the cars that they're on would have had aftermarket radios installed in them. 39 Mercs had a rooftop antenna like a 40 Ford or Merc. The 39 Zephyr used the trunklid which was insulated from the body.
